I have had this desire to mix up beadwork and metal materials for some time and this is what was born from that! The shade of red is called indian red and I’m fascinated how it looks brown / burgundy red depending on the lighting.
My first thought was to make lacing on fours spots; back, front & the sides, buut it didn’t work well with these materials.

Phantom Mask 💀
Glassbeads woven mask. I had to go to the limits of my skills with this😅. It’s totally shaped to the face; eyebrows, nosebridge, nose down to mouth, chin, shape of the eyes, forehead etc. Every little detail what the 4mm & 2mm beads create was thought each at least 10 times 😅 But I’m so happy with the result! It’s kinda scary but so cool and special🤌🏽
If one day I could create something alike to a movie/ series for a villain etc, it would be one big dream come true🙏🏽 Movie/ series people seeeeee thisss pooossttt😆

I think this dress took about 8 weeks all and all to create 🧐 I’m not sure bc at some point I stopped tracking the time with this 😅 All handmade with glassbeads and hematite beads by yours truly🖤
This one I’m not going to sell anytime soon, but it is also available for rental 🖤! There is also a matching mask with a veil to this 🥰

My latest design 🥀
What I enjoy the most with designing is constantly learning new things and techniques. Everytime you learn something new, it opens a variety of new possibilities on what you can create next. I don’t remember who said this, but designing is 5% creativity and the rest is the ability to execute that idea. I would maybe say its more than 5%, but I do agree 100% with the point of it. For example compared what I could do 2 years ago is very different of what I have learnt to do and can execute nowadays. I might have had very good ideas, but no means on how to bring it to the physical world. Slowly but surely learning new things!

Herald headpiece and mask 🌑
I have found myself being increasingly fascinated by masks so here is another one! This is a stainless steel plate mask and headpiece with glassbeads and spikes. I saw the latest Dune trailer and was inspired by the beautiful headpieces in the movies. So here’s my intepretation for a Bene gesserit mask ⚔️

A little sneak peak to this piece I’m reworking for a project 🙏🏽 This is originally from my SS26 collection, but now reworking it by: adding beading, a little reinforcement on some parts & lace. You know that feeling when you have piece done and something in it just doesn’t feel right? I had that feeling with this piece, but now I think it’s finally taking the final form it was originally supposed to have!

Demeter glass dress 🌿
An ombre effect glassbeaded midi dress. Entirely handwoven from glassbeads, this took all and all about two months to make😅 Honestly, I lost track of time with this 🧐 Thank you so much to my trainee once again @ruutoikeesti for helping me with this. The dress was customised for a customer 🩷
We did a quick photoshoot with @juliustoyryla with the dress, so high quality pics are on the way too 🙏🏽🥰

Chainmask and a chain cowl ⛓️
13 metres of chains in this cowl! Most of the length comes from the thinner chains that are placed in the front and in between the bigger coffeebean chains 🙏🏽 Huge thanks for our trainee @ruutoikeesti for mending chains together🫶🏽
There is a design sketch where you can see that the original intention was to have a open nose-mouth, but we ended up closing the nose too 🥰!
