Can’t believe our week here in Brockley is nearly at an end. For now, the bad weather has finally stopped, the sun is shining and I’m looking forward to meeting more of the local Brockley community during our final few days. A special thanks to all the brilliant coffee spots in the area for keeping me fuelled throughout the week - genuinely spoilt for choice. Nus Nus and Browns have already become favourites, and I’m looking forward to checking out Good As Gold tomorrow morning. Back to the shop, Future Love has had a restock, and I am still coveting a pair of Gucci shoes from them. On my rails, I’ve added a few special vintage pieces, lots of easy summer dresses, and some shirts and light pieces that feel perfect for future adventures in the sun. Day 4 in Brockley and we’ve had all the weather, rain, hail, and everything in between, so thank you to everyone who has popped by and here’s hoping the next few days bring a little sunshine. Really loving this corner of South East London though. It’s been such a great few days getting to know the locals and discovering new spots and shops. Gently is such a beautiful lifestyle store - currently coveting their incredible ceramic oil and garlic pots - and Lorenzo Records has definitely sorted my vinyl fix. Back at the pop-up, the rails have had lots of new additions across both womenswear and menswear, including pieces from Acne Studios, COS, Joseph, Isabel Marant, Ralph Lauren, Folk and Studio Nicholson, alongside vintage butter-soft leather jackets and much more. The Piece You Can’t Quite Let Go There’s always one piece on every sellers rail, the one they hesitate over… the one they secretly hope no one buys. For May 9th, Sircula sellers share a piece going onto (hopefully) their rails… Billie (Sircula): It has to be this butter soft leather late 80’s jacket in the dreamiest mushroom hue, wear collar up or down. Big shoulders, oversized cut, gorgeous embroidery detail and sooo perfect for now. Sourced on a very cold morning in Amsterdam, worn immediately! James (Secretsundaze): A vintage Valentino light denim jacket. Super soft material, lovely feel to the skin, dropped slouchy shoulders and understated 90s detailing. Our curated pre-loved and vintage market returns to Filly Brook, with rails from local fashion insiders, quality-focused resellers, collectors, and experienced vintage buyers, every seller hand-picked for their garment quality and style. Expect spring/summer selects, light trench coats, soft leather jackets, softer fabrics and easy pieces for adventures in the sun.
