The idea of destruction has always been interesting to think about and even more so, the thought that someone else could bring about your own. Interesting up until the point where you feel it firsthand, when one day, you reach into the depths of yourself to realize that something you never left home without, that has long burned holes inside you has suddenly and inexplicably gone missing, or worse, that it’s been taken from you and the thought that you may never get it back.
And at some point all the emotions rise to the surface, and there’s a ticking time bomb inside of you, ready to go off.
The aftermath of that experience brought me “Annihilate Me” and this song will aways hold a special place with how much was felt and experienced in writing it – I’m ready to let go of it now.
It’s been an overwhelmingly difficult year but now and again we get an opportunity to dance it out. I got an opportunity to come out and play @theums and @juliannaphotography captured the scene. Can’t wait to do it again. Did I mention new music is coming? Sooner than you think 🤭
