hey ey, my song BLOOD is out today, it’s super personal and even though it helped me to talk about it offline, now I’m super nervous and thinking: is this normal that I want to share this?
The song is about miscarriage and admitting that the most important thing is life.
I’m ok and processed this by writing this song, but what also helped me a lot was sharing this experience. I wish it would be normalized to talk about things like this with your friends and strangers of all genders without any shame or sexist remarks. And thank you lovely people who were there for me <3
Last year, a taxi driver asked me if I had children, I said, 'i had a miscarriage a couple months ago and now I’m not sure I want children at all‘ and he replied 'oh I’m sorry but you have to, otherwise your man will assume you don’t love him and leave you' it was so EWWWW in so many ways!
Also I realized that people just don’t talk about miscarriage especially outside of 'female circles' and at first I felt being the only one who ever had this. Let’s normalize sharing and supporting each other.
and give this song a listen, what do you think about it?
the artwork was made by the ultimately talented Kat @sinrapture and here I’m posting the drafts because I love them!
