BUT … just wanted to share a few thoughts.
As I’ve mentioned before, I’ve been injured and I’m currently on my recovery journey. This injury has been especially challenging — not only physically, but mentally as well. Once again, my body has changed. Part of it is due to medication, and part of it is because I’ve had to truly rest and step away from most physical activity. I’ve not felt good in my body, and at times, I haven’t liked what I’ve seen in the mirror.
It’s been a physical and emotional battle of acceptance:
Accepting gratitude for my body
Accepting love for my body
Accepting change.
I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again: bodies change, and that’s okay. What truly matters is understanding those changes and moving forward with them, not against them.
So I’m sharing a few photos of myself during this journey. Thank you @natefiti for capturing these shots 🫶🏼 And guys, remember to ACCEPT your body 🌸

Last year I was honoured to choreograph Christiana’s & Charles’s wedding dance 🫶🏼 They delivered BEAUTIFULLY. I remember them saying to me they don’t know how to dance, but they were lying big time (or then I’m just a good teacher 🤭). I appreciate you two a lot 🫶🏼
