@dugasparkky just built 1.5 miles of singletrack and is hoping to add a pump track, a dual course slalom, and up to 10 miles of XC trails in the future.
Boulder mountain bikers say they were blindsided by a pilot program to restrict bike access to popular trails on an alternating-day schedule. The proposal comes despite data showing only 4% of visitors report conflicts, and trail usage has been declining since 2020.

One of Pennsylvania's biggest state parks just dropped plans to more than double its purpose-built singletrack.
Ohiopyle State Park — already home to the Great Allegheny Passage and 25 miles of hand-built OBC singletrack — just released a draft plan for 37.5 miles of new purpose-built trail. The three-phase, ~$4 million build-out runs from 2026 through 2028, with design by Kay-Linn Enterprises (yes, the Jakes Rocks crew).
When it's done, Ohiopyle will have 50+ miles of purpose-built singletrack and a true shuttle run to town. 🤘
