At a recent board meeting, Sami from marketing pointed out that Oct 19 marks our 1 year anniversary. Tears were shed, hugs were hugged, and decorum was thrown to the wind. Membership is at an all time high and dare we say, so are the vibes. We’re grabbing our robes and will be out-of-office for the remainder of the day, but before we do, always remember: it’s not just olive oil — it’s good fat, baby.

Relatable doesn’t mean ordinary. It means understood.
It doesn’t chase approval or explain itself. It just feels right, like it read the room and decided not to give a wedding speech that started with “for those of you who don’t know me…”
Ordinary fades.

This drink shouldn’t exist.
But then again, neither should Instagram captions, or the concept of “vibes.” And yet here we are, posting about both, pretending it makes sense.
It’s peach and mint and bourbon and oil, and it tastes like summer in reverse.

Craving is not the same thing as wanting. Wanting is rational: you want a sandwich because you skipped breakfast, you want money because it buys the sandwich, you want love because it makes the money and the sandwich feel less meaningless.
Craving, however, is the irrational itch that convinces you to text someone you haven’t spoken to in six months because suddenly, at 2:14am, their approval feels like oxygen.
We all crave something.
And for some of us, that ‘something’ is pink.
Last week at the 1 Hotel, we watched Cerofy.io launch into the world. There was a Single & Fat martini. There were tattoos. And there was a dog who clearly knows more about business than the rest of us. Some things are planned. Some things are inevitable. This was both.
We were told that posting recipes would make us more relatable. We’re not doing that right now, but we’re just letting you know we were told to do it.
