There are some gigs that feel bigger than the gig itself. Featuring at City Winery Boston is one of those moments for me. My reboot season has never just been about “coming back.” It’s been about rebuilding with intention. Relearning what kind of artist I want to be, what kind of life I want to live, and what it means to create from a grounded place instead of from burnout. A few years ago, I stepped away. I needed rest. Perspective. Healing. Since then, I’ve been slowly and intentionally putting the pieces back together, rebuilding my band, investing in myself, showing up consistently, singing in intimate rooms, creating independently, betting on my own voice again. And now… City Winery Boston. A next-level dream gig for a grown-folks soul singer from Hartford who still believes in real musicians, real audiences, and songs that actually mean something. This moment represents every open mic, every tiny room, every hard decision, every restart, every rehearsal, every “keep going” conversation I had with myself. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who has listened, shared a post, bought a ticket, joined a mailing list, booked me, encouraged me, created with me, or simply believed in my music over the years… thank you.
