soooo I got me a concussion…
slowing down is a huge issue for me so the injury definitely wasn’t about to make me cancel my NY debut.
what’s crazy is the show was verrry sobering bc I was making mistakes I never would/had and I felt the slowness of my multitask superpower. evidently I took for granted the agility the one woman show takes.
nevertheless i felt the tangible support and love from my framily that came out and made me a coreeeee memory. pls enjoy the highlights they captured.

I stopped calling myself an actor a long periololically ago, but this project proved to be the perfect space to push myself again. what an honor it was to portray Mahalia Jackson in this musical, and how about our birthdays are both on october 26!
