First time out of the country with my wife, first ever Lindy Hop festival for me, and honestly one of the most memorable trips I’ve had.
We went to
@frankiemanning11x in KL, a 3-day Lindy Hop festival filled with classes, socials, amazing music, and a lot of dancing. I didn’t really know what to expect going in since this was my first festival experience, but I ended up having so much fun. Dancing with people from different places, learning from incredible teachers, and sharing the whole experience with our Filipino Lindy Hop friends made it extra special.
Thank you as well to
@sing_lim for sharing your time and knowledge with us, and for answering our questions about Lindy Hop. It was a privilege learning from you.
Beyond the dancing, KL itself was such a fun experience. The night markets, the food, the random walks around the city, and all the small moments in between. Huge thanks to
@joshychong @musanggala and Sean for taking us around and treating us to good food and good company. Definitely one of my favorite parts of the trip.
And of course, thank you to my lovely wife
@joycee.fruit for planning little spots and adventures she knew I’d enjoy. Our last day wandering around artsy stores and creative spaces honestly gave me so much inspiration and got my creative juices flowing again for my baby project, Nostalgic Itch.
Still processing everything, but this trip definitely gave me a lot of happy memories, new inspiration, and even more love for Lindy Hop.
