This is 55. It’s simple, not an age I thought I’d see. Growing up watching my grandfather getting older. This seemed so far off. I’ve lived a life of a gypsy, a vagabond, reckless & wild at times & in other breathes out of control. I’ve loved, hated, been lost, got found & had loss & survived. It’s still going, I’m still pushing. Dreaming & trying to always fill that hole in me to achieve more. I keep pushing mostly to keep moving forward, but I feel at times like I’m not done yet, there’s still more, a lot more. Thank you to all who surround me with love & support, to my friends & family. @themint400 yesterday racing, everything was going great. Car was smooth no issues my beautiful love @shell26bell co-driving with me, just out for a Friday drive. Between Gonzo & Gene Pit, we got hit hard by a Class 10 car. Nothing felt bad. Stopped a ways down when it was clear to pull off, rear bumper was smashed welds broke & it pushed into the fender, I didn’t notice anything else. We had 15 miles before Pit #2, suspension felt soft so we knew something wasn’t right. Getting into the pit the lower adjustable arm snapped off the hub, because the inner arm had been split in 2. The impact had completely broken it & I didn’t see it on my walk around because the tire was still being held at center. Didn’t have another hub with me, nor arms. So we were out of the race. Super big bummer for us. @shell26bell was great in the second seat, and kept the positive vibes flowing. Thank you my love for being super awesome. It’s bitter sweet again making my way back to the mint for the 4th time & missing that elusive finish. Car felt really great. But that’s racing. Thank you to @therealdorr for pit support & my buddy Steve.
