I always SUPERSIZE my salads. That way I can keep snacking on it throughout the day rather than reaching for something unhealthy. This was delicious, fibre and protein-packed with healthy fats to keep me fueled and my heart happy ❀️ Ingredients: Spinach, chicory, avocado πŸ₯‘ apple. "You don't make friends with salad" was a phrase my husband used to say to me when we first met! He's now a chef and eats more salad than I do! @krisholyhead helped me through my skin flare-up by making me fall back in love with healthy food again. Thank you! You rock my world 🌎 β™₯️ Salad is NOT boring if you're creative and adventurous with the ingredients. 1st Dish: chicory, green beans, mango, chilli, beet, fennel, crispy kale, lots of nuts and seeds and a simple lime, @honest_toil and himalayan salt dressing. 2nd Dish: Charred baby gem with VEGAN blue cheese dressing using @honestly.tasty which I highly recommend as an alternative to dairy cheese and sesame seeds. 3rd Dish: Home-made hummus with roasted Sweet potatoes and shallots, capers and black beans. #saladdays #rawdiet #plantbased #saladisnotboring #highvibediet #healingwithfood #healthyliving #highvibeliving

A month ago I had a horrendous skin flare-up. I've never suffered from eczema, dermatitis or psoriasis. It came out of nowhere and was debilitating. My face was covered in hives and my hands were covered in painful blisters. After blood tests and a hair analysis came back with no answers I put it down to STRESS and overindulgence at Christmas time, possibly a congested liver. Luckily, because of my nutrition background, I knew what to do. I went on a Strict Alkaline diet and gave up everyday acidic and mucus forming. No coffee, no alcohol, no gluten or dairy etc. I upped my supps intake, got back on the probiotics, milk thistle herb and Omega 3's and dusted off my Juicer. I resisted the harsh steroid creams and lathered my skin with coconut oil hourly. I also drank tonnes of mineral water and GREEN JUICE 🍏πŸ₯’πŸπŸ«šπŸˆπŸ₯¦ #jocross #fatsickandnearlydead #chronicurticaria Thankfully I'm on the mend but it scared me 😱 and made my heart heavy knowing this happens to so people who don't know how to heal themselves naturally and go down the steroid cream route. #TSW Your skin is the route of elimination for detoxification so remember, you can't hide from what's going on inside.
