These two. When they’re older, I’ll tell them that I trained with a student of Karlheinz Stockhausen, their last name is @Sines , and this will make complete sense

⚠️ Photosensitive seizure: This contains flashing lights. ⚠️ @nu_vision_the_band Shadow in the Dark is a tale of an innocent woman’s deep listening experience, who loses herself in words and sound, transporting her into an ancient Greek preternatural site, further descending into the shadows. Stranded roadside, she discovers two figures who invite her to the ancient Pentelikon cave of Christos Davelis, where Pentelic marble from the Parthenon was quarried. As they explore the remains of Saint Spiridon’s chapel, they journey to the heart of darkness, entering a new space of lethal seduction. Filmed on location at Davelis Cave, Athens, Greece, Shadow in the Dark features vocals by Greece’s Trenton Chase channeling a young, sinister Vincent Price, starring LA’s Annika Maya as an innocent woman turned succubus, with count and countess played by Belgium’s Giulia van Langendonck and Greece’s Aristomenis Theodoropoulos, and Doyen (head vampire) played by Greece’s Valisia Odell and Marios Antonopoulos as the victim. “Shadow in the Dark” Music produced, written, and performed by Duke Cooper @kodenation_ Jason Letkiewicz @confusedhouse Jonathan D. I literally had ebbed and flowed with Nitzer Ebb Product over the last 30+ years, both loved and hated them because they were so freaking popular — you couldn’t go anywhere without someone trying to emulate them… Douglas you’re one of the greats. I’m happy to have met you with my bud Juan who left us also way too soon last year. Thank you for the memories, and sorry we never got a chance to go film you back in Cleveland.. That would’ve been great. 🖤🥀🖤

Cherishing what might be my final moments with my dad. A giant pain in the ass from the start. But he’ll talk the ears off of strangers for hours. His only coherent words of advice “don’t do what I do” 🫡

This has been a particularly rough week, processing the loss of one of the synth communities’s biggest mentors (and talkers — I should know!) Paul T Schreiber was a legend amongst mortals, and when he popped up on my fledgling mailing list in the late 92 called analogue heaven, he added a great amount of credibility to this thing about people talking and discussing synthesizers on the Internet. I’ve chuckled so many times with Paul’s quick wit, fast ability to create some funny ass memes, but also admired his creativity as an engineer and synth designer, who would listen to artists and give them unique tools for exploring. When he released the morphing terrarium, I was hooked instantly— I used it almost exclusively as my main eurorack oscillator, and when he was announcing the Quad Morphing terrarium, I jumped at becoming a beta tester. I also did a series of videos and test with the E520 Hyperion processor, and lent him some ideas about how to bridge the gap between vintage and future technology, something we are both entrenched in. Everyone’s going to miss him, I always hope we would have another time to meet up again, he was like a great uncle I never had. I hope that Eric and the gang will allow SynthTech Modular to live on. You were gone too soon. Your creations were deeply inspirational to many, of course with Robert Rich & Richard Devine, but also myself having used it on a number of tracks (sadly not all which was committed to tape) but I did one track that I particularly tried to flex the Quad Morphing Terrarium’s strength here on undefined records in Amsterdam — check out “waves of love” My heart 💙 goes out to his wife Tammy Schreiber and his family, whom I had the pleasure to meet at Control way back, and also see him in his element at Music in Machines in 2016, with Suzanne Ciani.
