Beyond my recent discovery of speedsoft and the NSL, my true passion will always remain rooted in CQB and MilSim. About 18 years ago, I first set foot on the very first version of Nuketown, and from that moment on I became completely addicted to playing indoors. There is just something about the fast-paced, high-pressure environment of CQB that has kept me hooked all these years, no matter who the opponent is standing across from me.
Nowadays, I often notice that players already start to feel intimidated the moment they see someone wearing a jersey or carrying an HPA tank. But at the end of the day, these are still just players — individuals you can test yourself against as a seasoned CQB veteran. The field does not care about the brand of your gear or the label on your jersey; it cares about how you move, how you think, and how you adapt under pressure.
Even with a realistic replica instead of a speedsoft setup, you can be faster, more agile, and sharper in your decisions than someone who purely focuses on speedsoft mechanics. CQB is about more than raw speed — it is about timing, awareness, precision, and the mindset to outplay your opponent in close quarters.
The real question you should ask yourself is this: how far are you willing to go for the sport? Are you willing to push beyond your comfort zone, train harder, and refine every movement until it becomes second nature?
Because at the core of airsoft — whether it is MilSim, CQB, or speed — lies the same truth: victory belongs not to the player with the fanciest gear, but to the one most committed to mastering the fight
Every day, I work on improving myself — both mentally and physically. My physical health has become increasingly important, not just for my own well-being, but also for the performance of my team, with whom I need to work closely and perform under pressure.
I've never really been into traditional sports. Football doesn’t appeal to me at all, and gyms are just not my thing. But about 18 years ago, I discovered airsoft, and over the past four years, I’ve become involved in speedsoft and the NSL format. It may not be the most popular discipline in the airsoft world, but I can confidently say it’s the most physically demanding.
The community, the field, your teammates, your opponents — all of it contributes to your development, both physically and mentally. The drive to become fitter, faster, and more focused has made it, for me, the number one sport that everyone should experience at least once.
