Today we laid my grandmother to rest. Mme was a pillar in our family. A woman full of love, patience, and strength. To me, she was more than just a grandmother; she was basically my second mom. She raised me when my mom couldn’t be there, and she carried the same values my parents tried to instill in me.
Today I also got to see about 90% of my family. With Mme being one of 12 siblings, our family feels like a whole community. And standing together today, I saw the power of that, one family, one blood and one heartbeat.
I’m deeply thankful for Mme’s 89 years of life, and I’m thankful to God for blessing me not just with her, but with the family I belong to.
Special love to my boy @chris_zola , I appreciate you always being there, bro. And to my sister @mrs_stones_runs , thank you for always knowing how to lift my mood, no matter what. I’m counting my blessings with you guys.
