Here's how I directed the video element of @benaddictionn 's MGA performance. The challenge was to see very actions through tiny windows of a CGI dollhouse that didnt exist on set. It was also crucial that the set lighting fit the stylized CGI lighting and the perspective was believable. These things all had to feel like they were in the same world.
To ensure I got the material I needed, I used OBS to comp my Blender session over my camera feed on set. This let me have real time reference to see how the performance played and allowed me to make any needed adjustments to the model and lighting.
It worked! Thanks to stunning work by cinematographer @kinsey.pro and thanks to @therealvinnychavez for bts and logistics + congrats to @benaddictionn on a killer night. 🖤🤙✨

Our Magneto helmet survived the #eatoncanyonfire that destroyed our home and was found atop the ashes exactly as you see in this 3d scan I did of this incredible artefact that I see as a symbol of invincibility in the face of overwhelming destruction MAGNETO WAS RIGHT.
