Through the Simpson University Betty M. Dean School of Nursing, Simpson University has helped prepare nurses who are now serving communities across the North State.
A proposed medical school would build on that same foundation, expanding the pipeline of caregivers and strengthening healthcare in the region for the long term.

Kindercollege 2026 brought nearly 1,000 young students to campus last week.
