November 11, 1918 an armistice went into effect between the Allied Nations and Germany and in 1938 became known as "Armistice Day" to honor Veterans of World War I.
In 1954, after World War II and Korea, the 83rd Congress amended the Act from 1938 to strike out the word "Armistice" and inserting into place the word "Veterans" to honor all American Veterans of all wars.
Since then America has celebrated and honored Veterans from every walk of life and nationality spread throughout this country. On this Veterans day it is no different and at Simpson we would like to take a moment to say Thank You to all who have served this country we know and love.
