Alright, I’ll play along with the 2016 trend.
That year was stacked with guitars, great people, and moments that somehow all happened in one short stretch of time.
Here’s a quick rewind:
1. The ‘56 gold top that got away
2. Nashville with Vince Gill AND Robben Ford
3. TFOA doing @thefellowshipofacoustics things
4. Fender’s exploded Tele at the NAMM show
5. Giving Niall Horan his first Lowden
6. Shooting demo vids with Ariel
7. Visiting Rudy’s Music in Soho
8. Sending a Lowden to James Bay to check out
9. Music videos in Bushmills distillery
10. Stephen Inglis at NAMM
11. The finished inlay on Lowden serial number 20,000

Robbie spent a lifetime on the road with bands like AC/DC, The Pogues and Bob Geldof. These days, he is all about making mandolins and playing music.
He flew into Belfast to collect this beautiful Weber Bitterroot from me, so I met him at the airport to squeeze the handover into a tight turnaround. Just enough time to swap a few stories and trade a couple of mando licks.
Always a pleasure meeting great people like Robbie and even better when you get to call them a customer. Enjoy the new mandolin, Robbie! #mandolin
As 2025 comes to a close, here’s a personal highlight.
This 1978 Fender Telecaster Deluxe, owned by Snow Patrol’s Gary Lightbody, went under the hammer in December raising an incredible amount for @cashforkidsni .
Here’s hoping 2026 brings even more amazing guitars like this one across our path.
Thank you to everyone who supported us this year, and Happy New Year! 🎸✨ #newyear #fender #telecaster #snowpatrol
