Vineyard vibes in the Algarve!
It’s been an absolute delight holidaying with family and being invited to play in a local restaurant here. What a fabulous place this is!
A full house at Quinta Dos Santos that included some lovely young girls from Dublin celebrating Victoria’s birthday as well as a group of French guests over on a business trip.
To add to the thrill of entertaining everyone, I was also honoured to have the owners present, enjoying dinner and a dance too.
A massive thanks to them for having me and the super fun manager Simone, who was so helpful with my set up and who danced and worked his way through the evening as well!
I can’t recommend the food and wine highly enough either. If you’re ever visiting Carvoeiro, get booked in, you won’t regret it. The location is stunning.
From arranging a chilled background set and ending up having a blast with a dance party, it really was a night to remember.

Heartfelt and hysterical speeches started the evening off followed by Dean @lovelighters DJing to a packed dance floor. Boy, did I have fun at this one, but what a workout! Lovely to see some familiar faces too.

Time out!
Obviously, music is a big part of my life, so grabbing a last-minute break on the Greatest Hits Radio Cruise was a no brainer.
And wow, what an amazing time I had. I was so lucky to meet so many of the artists and cast on board.
Martin Kemp’s DJ session was packed out. He seemed to be enjoying it so much, he overrun by at least half hour, I lost track of time!
The ambassadors of Ambassador Cruise Line, Kate Thornton and Jenny Powell, were absolute darlings and worked non-stop to keep everyone entertained the whole week. They, along with Jackie Brambles, hosted the Q&A sessions as well as some DJ nights amongst other things. Such lovely ladies who never failed to stop and chat and have selfies with everybody.
The cast put on so many brilliant shows both in the theatre and the disco it’s hard to say what was best, but of course my favourite was the Studio 54 show.
Ken Bruce also did a Q&A followed by his famous Popmaster quiz. What a legend, a true gentleman.
A fab 60’s show by The Overtures also packed out the theatre twice, a great band.
And finally, Lulu. At 77 years old, a real inspiration and proof that music keeps you young and you’re never too old to party. Iconic.
So many other fabulous moments on this cruise, including the food, other entertainment and activities and the ports of call which I’ll be posting on my personal page.
I must apologise to those of you waiting on a reply to your enquiries. I’ll be back in full swing after the Easter break and appreciate your patience.
