I thought I would pop on and say hi. I’m Teresa, I’m the very proud owner and founder of Simply rustic It all started 10 years ago. When my Daughter married. And it’s grown from there. I started off with my items at home. It then took over the house. I then rented 1 container to store my items. Then I added another container. I opened up a showroom in my dining room. It then spread to the lean to, then in the garden. I was outgrowing my home buying lots of lovely items. I need a bigger space. I then rented a lovely light and airy unit in my village of Tollesbury. I loved it. More and more couples came to visit and see my items. I loved showing everyone what I had. But 3 years down the line. I had outgrown the unit. I needed a bigger place to store and display all my goodies Last July a lovely unique arched building came up for rent in Tiptree, Essex. This was my dream. I had worked 9 years to get this. I then took 3/4 months to turn it into my showroom, then I had more storage behind all the racking. End of November last year my dream was a reality The showroom was open. I love it. It’s my “Aladdin’s cave” full of treasures. 🥰🥰🥰 I’m so proud of my showroom. A lots of my blood sweat and tears has gone, not only in my showroom, but my business. I’ve worked my little socks off. I looked after a critically ill husband for 7 years. (Who was always in and out of hospital) while running my business. My 2 children have helped so much and I’m so grateful to them. I also look after my 4 year Granddaughter who I love to pieces, she’s my world. I’m also so happy to announce I have another Grand child on the way. Simply rustic has gone from strength to strength. I’m so proud to be a preferred supplier in 11 Essex venues and 1 Suffolk venue. They are all amazing. It’s fantastic to be a part of each and every one, of their team. You can book me in the confidence that I know a lot of the venues inside and out. I have PLI, my items are PAT tested yearly. I have a level 2 in Food hygiene. And I’m rated a 5 with Maldon District Council I’m very passionate about each and every wedding and event. I put my all into it. Teresa
