The DIY wedding Ikea clothing rack hack is definitely a doable DIY project! I used Ikea clothing racks to display our engagement and family photos to add to the wedding decor. I will make a total of 6 of them that our wedding guest can view as they enter our backyard wedding. This is also a great way to display your welcome sign or your seating chart and it wasn’t even that hard. If you’re new here, my name is Taneisha and I’m a 2024 bride getting married in my backyard. I’m sharing all my DIY projects, backyard renovations, and planning resources. After assembling the racks, I spray painted them gold. From there I attached a small foam block to the corner of the rack and decorated it with greenery and flowers. I printed our engagement photos from Walgreens as a 24x35 poster. I ordered poster board from Amazon and glued the photo on to it. The holes were made from using a groomer tool kit I got from Amazon as well. I then hung the poster to the rack by tying ribbon through the poster to the rack. 📸All of our engagement photos were done by @cswindellphotography . ✨ Comment, “template” if you need a wedding WELCOME SIGN along with all the other wedding signage you may need and I’ll send you the link to purchase my signage template bundle. 🏷️Tag me if you end doing something similar for your wedding. I’d love to see it! ➡️Go ahead and give me a follow for more DIY wedding ideas. #weddingplanning #weddingideas #weddingtips #weddinginspiration #diywedding #diybride #ikeahack #2024bride #2025bride #engagedlife #engagedcouple #backyardwedding #uniquewedding #bridetobe #weddingdecoration #weddingsign #weddingwelcomesign

🗣️Allow me to introduce myself😀! My name is Taneisha, but you can call me T. I am a bride-to-be, event planner, and planning my whole wedding. Oh and I also work full time as a teacher and coach🤣. This year has been crazy with getting engaged, purchasing our home, DIYing my backyard wedding, and all the to-do lists. I find it easier to keep myself organized by creating templates and planners , especially when planning parties or work events. I also want my wedding to be extra personal with my DIY crafts and templates. I started this page to help other brides by sharing everything that has helped me along the way, my DIY projects, and templates. I thought it would be pretty cool to document our backyard transformation as well. Give me a follow for all your wedding inspiration, DIY budget saving tips, planning resources, and to witness how I turn my backyard into a wedding venue. Thanks a bunch and happy planning! #weddingplanning #weddingideas #weddingtips #weddinginspiration #diywedding #diybride #budgetwedding #weddingtemplates #2024bride #2025bride #backyardwedding #weddingchecklist #uniquewedding

Most couples walk through their venue thinking about decor. A coordinator walks through thinking about: Where guests enter Where vendors unload Where the ceremony starts Where cocktail hour flows Where the bar line might build up Where signage is needed Where the DJ needs power Where the couple will hide before the ceremony Where the rain backup plan actually works Where the timeline might fall apart Because the goal is not just a pretty wedding. The goal is a wedding that works. This is why I always tell DIY couples: your wedding design and your wedding logistics have to talk to each other. Pretty without a plan becomes stressful fast. If you’re planning your wedding yourself, comment “PLAN” to get the details about same program I use to create my floor plans as a coordinator. #diywedding #diybride #weddingplanning #floorplan #venuewalkthrough

Did you know your seating chart or escort cards can also be interactive for your guests and double as a wedding favor? I love wedding decor that serves multiple purposes. These escort displays are all items guests can use at the wedding reception and take home as a favor. Which one is your favorite? Comment “checklist” for my wedding checklist collection to help you stay on track during the wedding planning. 📸: Pinterest-DM for credit #diywedding #diybride #weddingplanning #weddingideas #seatingchart

A lot of couples get these mixed up, so here’s the simple version: Seating chart = one main display that tells guests what table to go to Escort card = an individual card guests pick up with their name and table number Place card = a card at the actual seat that tells them exactly where to sit Most weddings use either a seating chart or escort cards. Place cards are for weddings that want assigned seats at each table, not just assigned tables. The best choice, especially if you’re DIYing it, depends on: your budget your guest count your layout how much time you want to put into it and how formal you want the meal seating to be I’m helping you DIY your seating chart for your wedding this week in my stories! What kind of seating display will you have? #diywedding #weddingplanning #weddingideas #seatingchart #budgetwedding

A good seating chart should feel like it belongs with the rest of your wedding. Not like you planned the decor one way… and then made your seating chart in a completely different style the week before. Think about: your materials your colors your shapes your font choices the overall feeling you want guests to get when they walk in Save this for later and comment your wedding style if you want me to give you ideas. #diywedding #seatingchart #budgetwedding #weddingplanning #diybride

This is for the book lovers who are looking for a way to incorporate your love of books in your wedding. Blind Date with a Book is where you wrap your favorite books with clues on the tag. Guests are surprised with a new book that you recommended. I had so much fun learning more about the bride @jolene.drache at her bridal shower. This was such a cute idea and I can’t wait to read my new book. #diywedding #diybride #weddingplanning #bridalshower #weddingtips

Comment, DREAM, and I’ll send you the link to get your all-in-one wedding planning portal. I created Dream Space when I needed a wedding planning system that I could use for my wedding clients to coordinate their weddings. It has everything professional planners use when you hire them, but built for the DIY couple. You get a system that educates you so you always know what to do next, keeps you organized in one place and sharing features so you can easily hand over your day-of info to whoever is in charge on your wedding day. Plan your dream wedding with Dream Space. #diywedding #weddingplanning #weddingtips #diybride #budgetwedding

Y’all were honest in my stories, and almost nobody said wedding planning feels “great” right now. Most of you said: ✔️there’s so much to do ✔️you’re pushing through ✔️or you’re just plain stressed So let’s simplify it. If wedding planning feels overwhelming right now, the goal is not to suddenly become more motivated. The goal is to stop trying to hold the entire wedding in your head at once. Start here: ⭐️choose one planning category ⭐️define your top 3 priorities ⭐️figure out your next best step That’s how things start to feel manageable again. You’ve seen me use Walgreens posters for signs… but this time I used them to make freestanding backdrop props 👏🏾 This is one of those DIY hacks that looks custom, saves money, and gives your event setup a bigger impact without a big budget. In this tutorial, I’m showing you how I turned simple posters into backdrop props that can stand on their own and work for birthdays, weddings, showers, and more. If you’ve been wanting your backdrop to look more full, custom, and creative without paying custom prop prices, this is for you. Save this for your next event. Will you be trying this? #diywedding #diypartydecor #weddingplanning #backdrops #babyshower

A little porch refresh on a budget. I made this wreath for $1.25, but it could’ve been free if I didn’t use the metal piece. My point is if you’re DIYing your wedding on a budget, take a look at what’s around you before buying anything. I worked with a past couple who wanted cedar and wild rose incorporated in their wedding, so she went out to the woods and found some. It may take a little more effort, but it’s possible to have your dream wedding on a budget. And if you’re having a spring wedding, I have a cherry blossom tree I’d love to use 😉. #diywedding #weddingplanning #weddingcoordinators #budgetwedding #diyflowers
