Just finished up another tune on this 2004 Subaru WRX for a client! This one was fully tuned at the Utah Motorsports Campus, with some additional road tuning to verify everything was performing exactly how it should. This setup consists of:• STi Turbo• STi Top Mount Intercooler• STi Injectors• Downpipe• Intake• Plus a few other supporting mods Honestly, this is still one of our favorite combinations for these WRXs. The STi turbo setup keeps the car extremely responsive, fun to drive, and makes for an overall solid street setup when done correctly. We were happy to take care of this car the right way and make sure everything was running as safely and smoothly as possible. Just wrapped up tuning on this wild 2011 Mazda MX-5! This car came in with a full Ford Fusion engine swap, and the customer wanted us to go through and completely retune the setup after having issues with the previous “flash tune.” After spending a ton of time dialing everything in, we were able to completely transform how this car drives. Throttle response, drivability, power delivery, and overall consistency are now where they should be, making this thing ready for the track and upcoming course racing events. We’ll continue monitoring the car through its next few events and making small adjustments as needed to get everything perfected and 100% dialed in. That’s one of the biggest advantages of a real custom tune versus a generic flash map — making sure the calibration matches the car and setup exactly. Got this Evo in for a tune and this one is going to be dialed in just right 👌 This car came in with some clean, tasteful mods and we’re taking it to the next level with a full flex fuel setup, anti-lag, and a complete calibration on the stock PCM. This thing is going to be an absolute animal while still being streetable. Current setup: * MAP Intake * MAP Front Mount Intercooler * MAP Exhaust Manifold * MAC 3-Port Boost Control * Flex Fuel Kit * 1000cc FIC Injectors We’ll be building this one out with multiple maps so it can handle whatever gets thrown at it—pump gas or ethanol. We’ve been extremely busy at the shop and haven’t had much time to post updates lately. Right now, we have a BRZ in for tuning, we’re wrapping up a Miata build for a client, and we’ve assembled three engines this month alone — including one for one of our own employees. On top of that, we’ve had a ton of drop-offs, e-tunes going out, and the usual maintenance work. Overall, it’s been a very productive month. We also have several engines currently waiting on machine work, with more coming in every day. Our goal this year is to build on what we accomplished last year — with better communication, the same (if not higher) level of quality, faster turnaround times, and continued growth. We’re especially excited for the car shows we’ll be attending and hosting as vendors this year. We can’t wait to see what this year brings.
