This free, one-day live arts event will feature more than 80 local musicians, dancers, and visual artists whose work reflects traditions from around the world. Hosted at Museum London, the event invites reflection on how far London has come over 200 years and how the creative contributions of diverse communities continue to strengthen and reimagine our shared future.
Live painting, dancing, and musical performances that fuse global styles will animate the Centre at the Forks throughout the day. Visitors are invited to experience live performances, explore the visual arts showcase, and meet artists as they create in real time. Museum London will also be open for touring.
Simple Reflections for Artists was founded to remove barriers for local artists who have come from around the world to make London their home. The collective’s mandate is to foster connection through the fusion of culture and community, using the visual and performing arts as a bridge.

Today we celebrate the strength, creativity, and dedication of women everywhere.
In our lives we all know a woman who inspires us — a sister, a mother, a grandmother, a daughter, a friend. Their determination, care, and hard work help move our communities and our world forward every day.
At Simple Reflections for Artists Collective, we are especially proud of the incredible women artists, musicians, dancers, and creators who are part of our family. Your talent, passion, and commitment enrich our cultural community and inspire us all.
Today we honour and thank you.
Happy International Women’s Day from all of us at Simple Reflections for Artists Collective.
