£250,000?! Quarter of a million!! I’m still letting that sink in!! That’s not just a number, that’s impact. That’s lives changed. That’s real love in action ❤️ And that’s what WE raised exactly two weeks ago!! What an incredibly powerful night with £250,000 raised at TO GAZA WITH LOVE, with all proceeds going to the displaced children and families in Gaza, helping them with food, shelter and medical care!! It was a night rooted in solidarity, compassion, and shared humanity. Thank you to our wonderful host @mr.islah I was honoured to collaborate with @donatedirectly , who allowed me to bring this vision to life, transforming an idea into meaningful action. And absolutely loved working with @pr_by_naz on this campaign!! And the best thing of all, was that the donations were not just from Muslim people, the message hit deep with every religion. This interfaith evening went beyond the traditional charity gala. Held on a Valentine’s Day, our black-tie gathering invited community leaders and guests from different faiths, to reflect on love in its truest form, love expressed through compassion, unity, and tangible support. We were privileged to hear from some of the most inspiring voices of our time, including @ravisinghka of @khalsa_aid , Bishop Joel Thomas, Rabbi Beck, Rabbi Sofer, and Osama Qashoo of @palhouseldn , alongside comedian and activist @thesundeep and an incredible spread by @blackstonecaterers canapés, and a delicious 3 course meal. From live Dabke dancing by @dabkeroots to a thoughtfully curated auction and powerful conversations in an elegant setting, the evening was truly beyond love. The Gala for Gaza. An inter-faith humanitarian event by SimplePR & Events in collaboration with @humanappeal An incredible evening of different faiths congregating for an important cause, to raise funds for Gaza! We raised an unbelievable £200,000 to help towards all those currently suffering in Gaza 😔 I couldn’t fault anything, it was all perfect including the incredible caterers that worked with precision and clockwork, all the way to the executive chauffeur company that brought Paul Choudhry to the venue, working meticulously. For months now, we have been tirelessly watching the horrors on social media, the devastation unfolding in Gaza, and like many of you, I felt helpless and felt the need to ‘do something proactive’ and atleast help as many children as we can. I have so many people to thank for their incredible support and love throughout, family, friends, strangers! This might take me a couple of weeks to do! I was advised today that in order to have a successful business, I should employ good looking young women to promote my services! 🤔 Not only was this a derogatory comment towards me but it’s incredibly shallow that we still live in a world where people believe a business can only be successful if the “face” behind it is considered attractive. Somewhere along the way, society started confusing aesthetics with intelligence, capability and credibility. A clean image can help with branding, but good looks don’t build businesses. Discipline does. Strategy does. Resilience does. Experience does. Integrity does. There are people out there building empires quietly without fitting society’s unrealistic standards of beauty. There are people changing industries through skill, knowledge and hard work, not because they look good in a photoshoot. Success is not a beauty contest. One of the biggest challenges I face as a PR Consultant is convincing my clients that they are more than good enough to be elevated! But people will always find a way to put you down. Too loud. Too quiet. Too ambitious. Too confident. Too different. Too weird. Too ‘in your face’ The truth is, some people are uncomfortable watching others grow into who they’re meant to be. For someone that’s only been self employed for 3 years, it took me a while to understand that no one needs to shrink themselves just to make other people feel comfortable. Don’t dim your light because someone else refuses to understand your light. Keep showing up. Keep building. Keep believing in yourself even when others try to make you question your worth. Imposter syndrome doesn’t just whisper doubts…It steals opportunities. I had no idea I was going to be winning an award at ‘The She Awards’ especially not the most anticipated award of the event, The Outstanding Woman of the Year Award! As soon as my name was called out, I was convinced they gave the award to the wrong person, of course imposter syndrome kicked in, I didn’t feel worthy! Imposter syndrome tells you to wait, to shrink, to stay “safe” instead of seen. And slowly, your dreams get smaller, not because you can’t reach them, but because you stopped going for them. The real risk isn’t failing. It’s letting doubt make your decisions. You don’t need more proof. You need to move anyway. Don’t let a voice in your head rewrite the life you actually want. Don’t let it make you believe you’re ’faking it’ Believe you’re worthy, even if others don’t think you are! #impostersyndrome #fear

After more than 40 days of closure, Al Aqsa mosque was reopened this morning, with over 3,000 performing the morning (fajr) prayer in the mosque for the first time since it was closed by the Israhell forces ❤️
