Whatup doe!! I’m back home so inspired and confident in whatever is to come. Being solo this trip I knew it would be a time of self reflection but I’m so very grateful for how it worked out. So much love to everyone I ran into while in Japan and no words can truly explain the peace and comfort I felt during this trip. Anyway here’s a glimpse into the last week! Currently on the Shinkansen headed to Osaka. It’s impossible to condense the joy Tokyo showed me in 20 pictures but here’s what I came up with. Incredibly grateful for the love I’ve been shown and the open arms I’ve been greeted with. @goodmusic.bar@shofujino were the BEST hosts. Never thought I’d be playing records I love in another country and for that matter JAPAN! ❤️ then I found out the DMC championships were also here for the FIRST time. Legends that I’ve been looking up to and being inspired by were all in the same building. Big ups to @skratchbastid for choppin it up with me and making me feel like a friend 🙏🏻 It seems like there’s so much hiding in Tokyo and you could spend a lifetime wandering and never feel like you’re seeing the same thing. And don’t get me started on the record shops. GEMS!!! I could go on for days but I’ll save it for when I get home. next stop OSAKA! 🚄

Haven’t made a lot of noise about this but every 2nd Wednesday I’ve had the blessing to jam with @swingvibe at @cafe_sous_terre and tonight’s my unofficial official birthday party celebration 🤘 We have the special honor in welcoming one of the best DJs in the city and worldwide if you ask me @whodat_detroit !!!!! Whatup doe!! I didn’t do a yearly recap but last year I traveled the world sharing my favorite music with so many people. Connected with people I look up to and even some kindred spirits I had never met. This year I told myself I won’t let another 12 months go by without sharing MY music and having something to share on my travels. So I asked myself what do I look for and what gives me goosebumps?
