@wes_rigdon been sending me some photos that make me miss our through hike. We spent 5 days in the high Sierra’s trekking off the beaten path. One of my favorite memories I’ve had in the back country. Can’t wait to do it again.
Mt. Conness North Ridge. Late season alpine linkup between North Peak and Mt. Conness. We brought a rope for simul climbing but didn’t use it. Great day out with beautiful views all around.
West face on Leaning Tower. Although one of the easier clean aid walls you can do in Yosemite, the challenge arose from the sheer steepness of the wall. Being the steepest big wall in North America, cleaning the route is a hell of a time. Me and @overlanded_ set off in the evening after work, got to Ahwahnee ledge, then pushed for the summit the next day.
On July 4th, @overlanded_ and I did the Tuolumne Triple crown. We free soloed Tenaya and Matthes Crest, and simuled cathedral as we ran into traffic. We parked in two separate parking lots, but the trip was 13 miles long with almost 8k of vertical gain. We finished in right over 9 hours and I had a blast the whole time.
Catching up on posting some of my adventures and activities over the past year. When I got to Yosemite in may this year, there was still plenty of snow in the high country. On my weekends, @wes_rigdon would join me on my journey to summit these peaks and snowboard down. He would take his camera along and got some incredible photos. This is from one weekend when we summited Mt. Dana and then I snowboarded down Dana Coulier, along with a few others, to get to shootout near Tioga pass.
