This has to be one of my biggest brags. Only buy what you need - no more wasting money on spices to go stale or food to sit in your pantry. Refill shops have so many perks, and this one applies to everyone.

Will you help us educate in your town? Just comment or DM “educate”
- Skip the stuff refers to the stuff (usually single use plastic) that comes with takeout such as cutlery, condiments, straws, and chopsticks.
- It will be effective August 1, 2026 for all takeout and also dine in restaurants with seating capacity of 10 or more.
- Self serve condiment stations are acceptable as long as they dispense individual single use utensils; no bundles will be permitted after August 2027
- If anyone wants or needs any of the single used stuff, just ask and they are more than happy to give it to you; it’s always allowed by request.
- The law will preempt the 60 some municipalities that already passed versions of the legislation
- Stay tuned for more details to follow in future posts such as exemption info and penalties.
