I was delighted to be commissioned by @thehoxtonhotel to design a bespoke silk scarf for their boutique shop, with a focus on @patatino.edinburgh — the hotel’s Italian-inspired restaurant.
This project gave me the opportunity to celebrate the unique character of the space, beginning with the hotel’s interiors. The decorative cornices, which speak to the building’s historic charm, became the foundation for the scarf’s border — reimagined with a clean, contemporary edge.
At the centre of the design is a tribute to the Amalfi Coast, which serves as the inspiration behind Patatino. I was particularly drawn to the myth of Hercules and the nymph Amalfi — a love story rooted in legend. As the tale goes, when Amalfi died young, Hercules buried her in the most beautiful place he could find, giving her name to the town that now stands there.
Taking inspiration from this narrative and the classical statues of gods and nymphs often found along the coast, I created a series of illustrations to sit at the heart of the scarf — weaving together heritage, mythology, and modern design in one timeless piece.

Another bespoke blazer designed for the wedding of the wonderful Kieran 🤍
Kieran wanted a truly timeless piece: an off-white wool blazer with satin finishing and brass buttons. We designed a double-breasted blazer with a symmetrical diagonal opening, allowing him to sit comfortably while keeping the blazer fully buttoned.
