I’ve decided on this absolutely amazing mix from 2004, demonstrated Zabiela’s mastery of the Pioneer CDJ-1000s, moving beyond simple beat-matching to incorporate intricate looping, scratching, and texture manipulation.

My best Gig ever? Easy... The Rolling Stones Cardiff 2109. It was a crazy day and I spent 5 hrs stuck in traffic, I missed the Support set by Elbow, was thirsty and hungry but for nearly 2hrs I witnessed a masterclass in performance. I was absolutely hooked. People always talk about the sex and drugs element of the Stones but all I see is then hard work and talent that has kept them where they are.

6- Fantazia The House Collection Vol 3 Jeremy Healey, Allister Whitehead In no particular order. I remember getting this CD on release in 1995, and it being a constant in my CD multi-changer. What makes the album stand out is its pacing: it builds and flows like a proper night out, rather than just a compilation of hits. Even decades later, it remains a nostalgic but still effective listen, especially for fans of classic house.
