A little recap from the always exciting Kulbilohu “Southside” competition. 👇
This time we’re celebrating the small but very important wins. Our goal in Kulbilohu was to try out the track, test new tires, and collect some track minutes. All boxes checked successfully. ☺️
The main thing and by far the most important was that the car worked well. The only technical issue came from the coilovers. After a closer look, we found out that both front coilovers were factory defects, which caused Simon some discomfort while driving. Luckily, fixing this only means waiting for new ones.
The track was completely new for all this fresh setup, but with the limited practice time we managed to tune it to a pretty decent level. To our surprise, we got in 9 practice runs in total! Finding the right line wasn’t easy – Simon had to push and get creative but eventually everything started to feel more like home. ✨
We also gave 100% in the qualifying runs. First lap earned us 57 points, second lap unfortunately 0. That meant no tandems this time – we landed in 33rd place, just one spot shy of TOP 32.
We have to admit there was some frustration here. Simon’s second run didn’t deserve a zero, but the call was made and we had to accept it. Still, we keep our spirits high and stay motivated to reach higher and further in the long run. 🙌
Biggest thanks and respect go to our team. The real value and pride lies in our people – without them nothing would run as smoothly as it does now. Cooperation flows without words, respect and trust are obvious, and the bond within our team feels stronger than ever. Every person’s contribution truly matters!
And before we wrap up – if anyone happens to have an E65 diff with a suitable ratio, hit us up. 😄
