Hello! My name is Simon Scheer, a graphic designer based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I began exploring the slippery slope known as art in elementary school, when I would doodle in the margins of notes during boring classes. Those boring class periods (and the fact that my teachers never got around to yelling at me), helped me decide to go down this slippery slope further and pursue art as my career. I work as a concert photographer, and have fairly free access to the comings and goings at music venues. However, it’s one thing to be the bands photographer, but what would it be like to be a PART of the band? What if we could see a show through the bands eyes?
The goal’s simple: give a band a disposable camera to document their show and life on tour. In-disposable is the culmination of the work of eight bands, ten disposable cameras, several tours spanning several cities, and one (very tired) concert photographer.
