“This EP is like a time capsule to me. It takes me right back to a unique moment in my life. I remember feeling like I was sitting on this big secret.Making my debut album ‘Chameleon’ was such a dream come true that by the time it was finished, I just couldn’t wait to share it with the world. I had to find some patience, though, since the release date was still a couple of months away.
One rainy afternoon I started thinking: if I have to keep this album to myself for now, why not use this time to dig even deeper into these songs? So we locked ourselves in a beautiful old converted cinema in the center of Amsterdam and undressed six songs. We recorded them live in one take, all acoustic, no overdubs. Without even trying too hard, I think we really captured a moment.”
