London Marathon ✅ Thanks again to everyone who supported me and donated towards Brain Research UK (over £3k now and you can still contribute). The universe sent me messages from El & Duncan along the way, and having the support teams (friends and family!) on the route and in the months leading up made all the difference. Shout to Therapy Guy for both the physical and psychological support 😵‍💫 The crowds were out in full force and full voice — that’s my excuse for missing my friends chanting my name (printing your name on your top is a must) 😅 Thanks to all the volunteers across the course and St John Ambulance (thankfully I didn’t see my old friend Fraser 😉), but the heat was less than favourable, especially having trained in winter. An unforgettable, emotional experience, with so many stories of dedication and devotion. The ups and downs throughout the race are plenty — and very, very real. I now feel like I’ve been run over by a steamroller, but the Hackney Half Marathon is in 3 weeks, so we move…just not today.

Exactly 24 hours to go - “describe your training in one song” Well… Ps. The real marathon will be finally ID’ing all the timestamps I’ve screenshotted over the last few months… #londonmarathon

Picked up my bib at the London Marathon Expo this week — an experience in itself, and a real glimpse into the scale of this event and the journeys (both geographical and emotional) that bring people here. I stopped by the Brain Research UK stand — they’ve now raised over £600k for this year alone. Huge effort. Thank you again to everyone who’s supported me in hitting my target. It genuinely means a lot. There’s still time (and space) for more 😉 Elliot & Duncan ♾️❤️

Marathon / Carb loading and sleep paralysis about whether to have “Hillsy” or “Simon” printed on my running shirt… 14 days to go @londonmarathon and a “cheeky half” in the can

3 weeks until the London Marathon and £533 to go. This run is for Elliot & Duncan, and to support Brain Research UK. 79% of the target raised — thank you to everyone who’s supported so far 🙏 Huge thanks to my content creator / cheerleader! 34km (21.1 miles) Wonky pictures from Hackney Wick to London Zoo. Sadly no animals out, and not a single punk spotted in Camden. On the way back I passed Victoria Park and saw a man running with a sound system blasting Freed From Desire. At that point I realised there is a very real chance I spend four hours of the London Marathon next to him. #londonmarathontraining #londonmarathon #londonmarathon2026 #brainresearchuk

As it’s London Marathon Fundraising Week, here’s what your donations to Brain Research UK actually fund 🧠🏃‍♂️ Brain Research UK funds vital research to reduce the impact of neurological conditions – helping people live better, longer. They support leading research teams across the UK, focused on brain tumours, brain injury, and headache disorders. What your donation could fund: £23 🧪 One day of molecular biology consumables to help researchers understand why migraines worsen at certain times of day – unlocking new treatment approaches. £51 🔬 One hour of research into glioblastoma – a deadly brain tumour that kills around three-quarters of patients within a year of diagnosis. £75 👩‍🔬 Three hours of a research technician testing treatments to reduce brain inflammation after stroke. £96 🧫 Eight days of essential lab supplies for research into how radiation affects children being treated for brain tumours. If you’re able to donate or share, it genuinely helps push this research forward. Link in bio / JustGiving in bio ❤️

Marathon motivation from my kids… In fairness, one of these comments was made before a sack race at school, but it now lives rent-free in my head. Thanks so much for all the donations so far ❤️ If you’d like to sponsor me, it’s all in support of Brain Research UK 🙏 #londonmarathon #brainresearchuk
