Our team has always found ways to get quality fresh produce to customers no matter the distances involved & this takes it a step further.
We’ve partnered with InvertiGro and Mindil Beach Casino Resort to launch a hyperlocal indoor farming initiative right here in Darwin — herbs, microgreens and edible flowers grown minutes from where they’re served, straight to the il Piatto kitchen. Diners can even watch produce growing live in the restaurant via an InvertiWall vertical farming system.
Less distance. Less waste. Less reliance on long freight routes. And food that genuinely doesn’t get any fresher than this 🌱
