I had the privilege of attending a thought-provoking plenary session by Adv. Nipun Saxena on “Changing Dimensions of Victimological Jurisprudence in the Context of Crimes Against Women and Minors.” at 2nd International Conference on Global Criminology & Victimology (ICGCV) 2025.
The session offered deep insights into the evolving legal landscape, the challenges in ensuring justice, and the critical role of victim-centric approaches in our judicial system. It was an eye-opening discussion that reinforced the need for continued dialogue and reform to protect the most vulnerable members of society.
Grateful for the opportunity to learn from such an esteemed legal mind.
I had the privilege of presenting my paper on “Bridging Systems : Intersectional Approaches to Addressing the Mental Health Needs of Victims in India’s Criminal Justice System” along with my Campus Director Mr. Arsh G at the 2nd International Conference of Global Criminology & Victimology (ICGCV) 2025 at Guwahati, Assam.
Everything I have learnt and come to understand about Victimology is because of Dr. Sunanda Bhagavathy. Today, when she appreciated my presentation and said that it felt like one of her own classes, it truly felt like life had come full circle!
Really very grateful to have such great mentors and guides in life. ❤️🧿
It has been a wonderful journey of learning to save lives — a journey that changed the way I see the world and myself. From fear to confidence, from hesitation to action, this experience has been nothing short of empowering. A heart full of gratitude for everything it taught me. ❤️🧿
