I tried the new @esteelauderuk Double Wear yesterday (I’m also wearing it today) and I have some thoughts 💭
💡 It’s definitely more fluid/liquidy than the original, which means you have a little bit more playtime when applying.
💡 A little goes a long way as before, but the thinner formula means a second layer (and maybe even a third?) is essential to get the original (very) full coverage finish.
💡 One layer gives everyday skin-like polish, two layers give totally flawless skin, three layers is like a mask (in a good way).
💡 It feels VERY light on the skin, almost weightless - even when you go for more than one layer. It’s incredibly comfortable - thanks to the addition of new skincare ingredients.
💡 It’s still a matte finish, albeit with a hint of radiance through it (and I really mean a hint).
💡 The longevity is off the charts, as before. I applied a full face at 8am this morning and it looks the same now at 3pm.
💡 The pigments have definitely changed. I’m not the same shade anymore - I wore Desert Beige for years, now I match better to Buff. It’s slightly warmer than I’m used to admittedly, but I like it.
