A year ago today, I left Bondi Beach and Australia — my home, family, friends, comfort, work, everything familiar — and landed in Rome on the 8th of May, the same day the new Pope, Pope Leo XIV, was announced. It felt surreal then, and in many ways it still does now.
Five months later, life shifted again. I was given an incredible opportunity to work alongside two entrepreneurs in the luxury property development world here in Athens — something I never could have mapped out, but somehow found me at exactly the right time.
This past year has been a beautiful journey, new people, new connections, new ways of living, and every day feels more intentional. Experiencing Europe, something I’ve always wanted, not just as a visitor but as my life.
Forever grateful I took the leap. The risk, the unknown — all of it. I’ll never look back and wonder “what if.”
If there’s something you’ve always wanted to do, this is it — just do it. You’ll never regret trying.

A new country awaits. A new continent. One I’ve admired and loved from afar — and one I’ve been lucky enough to explore on vacation. Now it’s time to go deeper. To immerse myself. To live it fully.
A new destination. A new place to call home. I’m opening my heart and my mind to the unknown. It’s a little scary, yes — but also incredibly liberating and exhilarating. A sense of pure freedom.
More than anything, I’m excited for the new energy, the new connections, and everything this next chapter has in store.
