Today this amazing lady would have celebrated 99 years, and just a few months ago we all thought we’d be celebrating with her, but it was her time to go. Here she is on New Year’s Eve on the beach in 2016. I miss you Vovo… but more than anything- I thank you- for showing me how to live- singing, dancing, laughing (and with a tablecloth on my head 😍) I will do my best to honour your energy, love, joy and unique, creative spirit. You were no ordinary granny and how lucky I was to have had you as long as I did ❤️
🌿🍃Planty scribbles from this summer, working over old drawings. I do like it when I don’t have to start with a blank page, gives me something to react to. Little wooden frames will need to be made for these I think… 🤔 and then maybe I try to make giant ones… 😱
