You know that moment when you’re trying to take a sneaky photo of someone and you get caught?
Not only that, you even get caught by the dog.
Yeah… that moment.

A post postponed for far too long, with the usual excuse (to myself) of wanting to talk about it properly and in full, since, for once, this was a job that I genuinely had a lot of fun working on. But when you keep postponing, months pass.
I collaborated with @airmailweekly on their shop–newsstand in my beloved New York, at 546 Hudson Street. With the invaluable help of Helen @agencydu , Angela Panichi and Anjali Lewis, we created a series of playful illustrations that I’ll slowly start sharing here.
Here’s one to welcome Spring, which is just around the corner :)
Throughout the series there are small easter eggs and references to the world of Air Mail hidden here and there that you might recognize. Or maybe not (for example: who’s that guy on the back cover?).
And for that there’s always the Quieter Lines newsletter —link in bio— where I’ll be talking about everything that sits inside, behind, and around an artwork. Air Mail will be one of the upcoming case studies.
I’ve started a small newsletter called Quieter Lines.
It’s a space for studio notes, early drafts, missteps, decisions, and the parts of work that usually stay behind the final image.
It will take its shape slowly.
If there are things you’ve never asked about this work, feel free to let me know. I’ll build the format and the themes month by month from there.
The first issue is coming soon.
And now a classic:
The link is in bio.
The master plan is, obviously, go viral and get rich within a few days with this animation, since they have both shining 🧠🧠 and a killer 👀

Curling is no joke! 💪
fun piece to work on for @5280magazine !
Curling, winter sports and a playful tone, an image built around movement, rhythm and toughness :)
Always happy to work on editorial projects where illustration can stay light, narrative and expressive.

Not knowing isn’t a failure. It’s an invitation. A Clean Slate. A chance to create what comes next.
You don’t need all the answers to begin. Just the guts to type the first word. Try something. Ask. Learn. Rethink. Rewrite.
That’s how everything meaningful gets made. Careers, relationships, dreams, you name it. So take the blank page as a gift, not a threat.
And remember, even the best stories start with someone saying “I’m not sure yet...”

It’s a real pleasure for me to continue this series with a thought that echoes my deepest fears and, at the same time, my strongest motivations.
I’m grateful to Kamal for allowing me to use this thought 🙏
New year, same people.
Illustration from @5280magazine Magazine.
Time for the annual illusion of self-improvement.
So what’s it going to be this year:
jog more, eat carbs and questionable food choices, or find a furry companion who looks at you the way those two are looking at each other?

Grateful to @daveemckenna who has been believing in me for two years now for the Oversimplified column, and to Helen, Dan and Joel for taking such good care of me at @agencydu
A miscalculation at its finest.

They say the sky’s the limit, but nobody mentioned ceilings!
A small reinterpretation of a piece published in November in 5280 Magazine :)
this is me when I go and vote -yesterday, for the record- full of hopes I already know will be crushed. So many of them
