I am deeply grateful for the year that has passed. So much unfolded within it, shaped with patience, care, and devotion. I traveled, wove my first small tapestry, and had the joy of meeting so many wonderful people along the way.
My film The Perpetual Tapestry was finally released, beginning its long journey and already finding its way to film festivals and upcoming exhibitions. This year I was honored to have a beautiful solo exhibition at Kabuso in Øystese, where my animation Beneath the Surface Touch the Sky, created for Heidi Torsvik and Winter Lazerus, was welcomed with a luminous premiere.
Throughout the year, art found its place in the public realm — with commissions for Fana Brannstasjon, Kvam VGS, and the Nedre Gangsås Day Centre in Harstad — becoming part of everyday life. Alongside these acts of making came moments of quiet wonder: seeing the Northern Lights for the first time, and finally reaching Lofoten.
None of this would have unfolded without my dearest Hans Pulles, my sweet sons, and my friends and cherished colleagues, whose presence and support carried me through the year. And to all the support for my projects! I hold each of you in deep gratitude.
Wishing you a gentle Christmas, and a New Year filled with light, stillness, and possibility. I look forward to the year ahead, where new and exciting projects await!
