Never one to drift too far away since his stunning 2016 debut ‘Requiescat In Plavem’, our lifer 𝓚𝓻𝓪𝓷𝓸 is back with ‘𝙏𝙞’ a song included in the original soundtrack of Francesco Sossai’s film “Le Città di Pianura”.
The film, presented in competition at
@festivaldecannes (Un Certain Regard section), was acclaimed as a little gem by the international press and tells a story set in the “deep” Veneto, a bittersweet road-movie that touches all the right buttons.
The film’s soundtrack composed entirely by Krano – to be released by Maple Death Records next fall – continues his very personal journey as a total outsider, a soundtrack that combines the desolation of the Piave and the fog of the lagoon with the dazed and rarefied folk that has always distinguished his music. Cosmic electric americana, Veneto spleen, honky-tonk mystics, noir gothic and fuzzed out spiritual rock’n’roll.
