Back down to Brighton yesterday to visit @simondavideden at his powerful & poetic exhibition Shadow Light -Songs My Brother Taught Me at the Phoenix Arts Space.
A wonderfully rich & wide ranging conversation ensued; including - loss, family, society, beliefs, consciousness, and creativity - to be continued..& hopefully with more to share with you at a later date.
I recorded some clips - one here - of Simon sharing some of the ideas & approaches behind the artworks with two young visitors. His creative vision includes writing, film, theatre & ongoing experimental artistic approaches & he is such a joy to talk with.
