This succulent plant with broccoli-like heads has a mass of upright flowers from summer to late autumn. A chameleon of the plant world, 'Autumn Joy' flowers undergo a radiant colour change as the season progresses.

After seeing these beautiful flowers in Bali I wanted to recreate them for my plant series. This involved using a base loft shape in #cinema4d, then refining with sculpting as well as displacers. Texturing in @maxonredshift I used some leaf vein textures with an emphasis on the subsurface channel. Comp in #aftereffects.

Monstera is a genus of 59 species of flowering plants in the arum family.
Fascinated by the beautiful geometry of the Monstera fruit (Monstera deliciosa) I spent a few days figuring out the best way to model it. As I couldn't find a flat texture I eventually used Google Gemini to extract one from a photograph. This needed extra Photoshop love and I used adobe substance sampler to assist with the tiling and creation of the various maps to use in @maxonredshift .
Thanks to @oscargomezwastaken for teaching me some rigging with joint chains and weight map smoothing.

Mograph cloner organic bubbly thing based upon the Arum Italicum plant. Using handy tips from @nosemangr regarding spherical cell packing I was able to get some pleasant intersections for my bubbles.

Inspired by the beautiful Leonotis Leonurus (lion's ear) I wanted to create a homage to Botanical illustrations. I used Hunyuan 3 topology tool as a base. Lots of remeshing and remodelling of areas was involved. Passes using @maxonredshift then comp in After Effects.
