Building on the success of our Next Leather Fashion Designers Program and the strong impact of our Education Day in Vietnam, Simona was proud to bring this initiative to APLF Hong Kong.|
Understanding Leather – A New Perspective As part of the program, Alane Marder, Head of Sustainability at Simona Tanning, led a dedicated session at APLF HK 26. The session invited participants to look beyond common misconceptions and discover the true nature of leather how it is made, the different types available, and the role it can play in responsible and conscious design. Encouraging young designers to rethink materials, make informed choices, and actively contribute to shaping a more sustainable future for fashion.
