Can’t tell you how much fun it is playing this little keyboard. It’s honestly unlike anything I’ve ever played before. I’ve been a drummer for the good part of the last 20 years. I always struggled learning chords and always stuck to rhythm. I know what I like, but I could never just play the chords I was thinking. This little thing is a cheat code that I didn’t know I’d ever have in my hands.

Made this while testing out Google’s new Veo 3.1 and noticed how the physics, camera moves, and quality felt like we made a huge leap, so the more I generated the more it became obvious that we’re just rapidly approaching an even higher level of indiscernibility.
When high concept ads can be made in a matter of hours, as opposed to days and months of prep, what will we the consumers think about the product we’re being sold. Will we care how it was made? Do you care now? Do you care if the entire commercial was shot on an LED volume wall in a studio versus an actual street?
Does real matter?
As the typical creator of these kinds of ads, directors, cinematographers, editors, are we to fight this kind of ai evolution, or throw our hands up and surrender to the inevitable that is coming.
Happy Monday!

This morning, Solly woke up and said “Mom, Dad, I made a film!” We walked out into our living room and he had taken all of the cards from the It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown board game and organized them in the exact order of the film. I think he’s got a knack for memory.
