Production Designing Lord of the Flies was one of the most challenging yet rewarding jobs. I was lucky to work with an unstoppable, creative and kind team in both Malaysia and UK that made the project so enjoyable. Sweatpea, Rhiannon’s Bathroom. I loved the colour ways and tone we achieved in this bathroom. We played with primary colours in this space. I designed the room to be predominately soft blues and yellows so when we introduced blood red it would stand out and pop. Stills, dressing photos, moods, concept, colourways

Tink, Tink, puppet Tink, panic Tink and finally pretty good Tink. Prop making at the various points in the Venn diagram of time, money and energy.

Rhiannon’s House, Sweetpea - Rhiannon lives in an old fixer upper on a dual carriageway. The house with unfinished DIY projects and stale memories. A home that’s passed by so many people everyday, but never really seen. This was an incredible and detailed build by @lostboys.london The Art Direction by @philly.bat and Set Decoration by @mandysorrin and team were perfection. The level of detail and layers of texture in this set that adds so much character. Stills, concepts, moods, colourways and dressing photos

Thank you @tlofilmservices for supplying all our action vehicles. All the vehicles helped set the tone of the world and give us a sense of the characters. Special mention for Tommy’s Transformation pickup van, which is iconic in my mind, and the Carnsham bus which was a tricky to find because I was being particular. Thank you for all the hard work and putting up with my design ideas.

For the horse lovers out there! 🐴🫶 ‘Little Star’ was a design I stitched together from stock images for Rhiannon’s t-shjrt in Sweetpe. I can’t remember where the spark for this idea came from, but it was either one of the brilliant minds that are @ellasjones or @kirstwithanie The design was an homage those tees I remember wearing in the 90’s - a collage of wolves howling at the moon and on sale in the likes of virgin megastores. I enjoyed this nostalgic design so much I could help but turn it into a wrap gift. As seen on screen in the 4th slide.

Rhiannon’s Bedroom, Sweetpea - there’s so much character and detail in this set. I love the warmth of this room, despite it’s weathered barebones and stunted/dated/childish dressing. I’m so pleased with thw bedding @mandysorrin and I came up with and special thanks to @seasonstextiles for letting us rummage through their samples and making the pink floral cushion with the teal fringe. It’s always really satisfying when your concept sketch comes to life - thank you @philly.bat for Art Directing the structure into existence and @lostboys.london for the build. The scenic work was incredible thanks to magic Joe - the most magical scenic in the land. The layered flaky ceiling 🧑‍🍳😘 Stills, concept, colourway, moods & dressing photos.
