A little late, but worlds 2025 was a blast! It's always a pleasure to hang out with people from all over the world, excited by the same small toy (or art, craft, sport, equivalent-to-a-cigarette-break - whatever, really) 😊 And this was my first worlds that took place in Europe! Made it even more special. I'm really happy I got to be there and perform on the big stage, even for one minute, as I found myself on the wrong side of the cutoff again. This time .3 away from semis after an overall decent prelim with an unlucky snag and a bad spur-of-the-moment decision 🥴 But I'm fine with that! Especially because I showed some of my own tricks ✌️ And I think, this year, others deserved it more, as I spent quite a bit of time on other stuff as well. Also did the first bigger project of @unprld.eu (unprld's new European flagship store I set up over the last few months). Through a cooperation with @spinkult we brought our current lineup to worlds. I really enjoyed hanging out at the booth 😊 thanks to everyone who checked it out! And in this context, special thanks to @markmaslo (who I didn't manage to get a photo with, as he was always helping everywhere at the same time. Next time!) This worlds was probably also the contest where I realised just how many people in the yoyo community I know and like 😊 Pretty much wanted to talk to half the people I saw, while also training for the contest, helping with the booth and watching people yoyo. And even though I had a ton of fun, I of course didn't manage to, especially as I had to leave early for an internship and miss out on the after-party. I'm pretty sure if I spent as much time with everyone as I wanted to, I'd still be in Prague 😅 So yeah, in case we met at the event but barely talked, I'm so sorry! Would've loved to hang out more, hope to see you again soon 🤗 Aand as always, thank you so much for your support @unprld 🫶 Couldn't wish for a better or more supportive team. Also, seeing @chandlersteele_ up there going clean and taking home a very deserved podium spot was definitely one of my favourite moments of the contest 😊 Excited for everything to come.
