5 days. 2 podiums. A week to remember.
2nd place in the Bendigo Fun Run on Sunday set the tone. Then straight into four days of Targa Classica — more than 1,500 km on the road, up to 75 time-trial tests, navigating from a road book and finding a rhythm of focus with fiercely competitive driver David beside me.
This year we changed cars, competing in the 1954 Fiat Otto Vu Zagato — a special machine with Mille Miglia history, still doing what it was built for more than 70 years later.
Moments of intensity, moments of calm. Long stretches of road, strategy discussed between tests, and the feeling of being completely present in it all.
To come away with the win after days like that feels pretty special. Proud of what we achieved.

Bendigo Fun Run was a blast.
A million turns, a couple hills and a short course. 39:32 even on a short course is still a PB for myself so I’m excited to see what I can achieve on an offical 10km.
Shout out to @tamepunk who was so strong and certainly a cut above the rest. @aartibrn_ and myself enjoyed hanging onto the pack for the first half of the race. Shout out to @runfercover who was also hot on our tails. A magic group of women I feel very fortunate to race with. Thank you I couldn’t be more grateful to share the start line with you all xx
Shout out also to the best coach @rebeccawilkinson_ who has really changed the last 6 months for me and my running. A nice moment to share with you too.
Huge turnout of @castlemainerunclub members who competed on the day and also heavily supported on the sidelines. I’ve never heard my name be cheered so much it was a bit overwhelming and so special. Every single one gave me the extra boost I needed. Grateful for our community. She was hot out there.
Visited where I grew up in the North Island of Aotearoa and was fortunate to race at the @taraweraultratrail 23km trail race💚

There must have been something in the mud, rain, clouds dabbled amongst the ferns, the towering redwoods and bubbling smoking geysers.
