This group of medical and nursing students at the game were so happy and proud to see me warming up on the pitch. Sometimes you don’t quite appreciate or realise the impact that your presence alone can have on the people who are watching and rooting for you.
For the black girls, for the dual career girls and the women who continue to face both perceived and actual glass ceilings, keep pushing.
